At Oakwood Rooms, we design and build bespoke garden rooms that are made to last.
The company was founded and is led by Lee, who personally manages every project from the first conversation through to final handover. That means you’re not passed between sales teams, designers and site managers - you deal with one person who understands your project inside out.
We specialise exclusively in garden room design and build. Unlike general builders who rely on loose, site-built timber, our structures are engineered specifically for garden rooms, delivering long-term reliability.

I would definatley recommend Lee and his team. Lee took down our shed and replaced it with an office with a storage room attached to the side. The whole building is fully insulated. Lee was very accomodating when it came to the spec. He suggested ideas which we took up and he also worked with our ideas. Lee will build you something that YOU want, and not something that is easy and straight forward for his business. His team also recommended ideas which we took up. Not only does he do office/outdoor rooms but he does landscaping. So we are just putting our thoughts together for the garden and bringing Lee back for that. Couldn’t be happier with the end result and the process. I don’t want to set expectations unrealistically high but when Lee responded to my enquiry with a fully priced up quote within an hour on a Sunday morning, I knew I was going to go with him. From then it was straight into a site visit, a detailed design (with a few iterations from us) and within a week the team were on site putting in ground screws. Less than 2 weeks later it was done - and at cost exactly what it said in the original quote. The on-site team were brilliant too - nice guys and left the place tidy. Needless to say, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Oak Wood to anyone considering a fully installed garden building.

A commitment to building better
Our mission is to design and build high-quality garden rooms that stand the test of time.
We choose to use TR-26 treated structural timber frames, supported by full technical drawings and careful design, rather than guesswork. We also provide every client a free design sketch with their quotation so they can clearly see how their space will look and function before committing.
We prefer to build fewer projects and build them properly, ensuring every detail - from structure and insulation to doors, glazing and finishes - is completed to a standard we’re proud to put our name to.
